We are looking for mechanically inclined individuals for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift openings. OT is available but not mandatory. Pay range: $20 to $25 an hour depending on experience and shifts Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing sheet metal parts, sub-assemblies and assemblies per safety, quality and productivity specifications.
- Works from written and verbal schedules.
- Operates one or more units of the following type of production equipment: presses, spotwelders, brazing oven, or other similar or related devices.
- Makes simple setups and/or minor adjustments to the equipment required to produce a variety of products and to maintain processes per specifications.
- May build control panel and wire units per wire diagrams.
- May operate multiple machine batteries or perform assembly singly or in combination with other operations.
- Performs material handling operations as directed.
- Responsible for quality of own work.
- Maintains accurate production records.
- Responsible for keeping work area clean, safe and orderly.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to maintain quality standards.
- More than basic knowledge of tools and processes. Work may entail features of some complicity.
- Requires the use of some judgment working with a minimum amount of direct work instruction.
- Frequently handles 21-50 lbs while standing.
- Ability to work from diagrams and prints.
- Ability to follow instructions, and to instruct other employees in machine operations.
