What you'll do:



Plan machining by studying work orders, production paperwork, materials, specifications, dimensions, and tolerances Evaluate programs for machine equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points, setting tool registers, offsets, and calculating requirements using basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Process each order per customer specifications Verify accuracy of parts by adhering to inspection process set by management Maintain specifications by observing and taking measurements using tape measures and micrometers; detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes, adjusting and reprogramming controls, sharpening and replacing worn tools, and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes Complete preventive maintenance requirements by following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, notifying warehouse lead, and/or calling for repairs Maintain continuity among work shifts by documenting/communicating actions, irregularities, and needs Maintain quality parts and processes by visually and dimensionally inspecting parts, production paperwork, with inspection reports completed upon receipt at each department Adhere to basic housekeeping standards and safe operating procedures (OSHA, PPE, etc.) Document actions by completing production and quality logs Has certification or willingness to become certified in operating a forklift Perform other duties as assigned

What you'll need:



Ability to calculate requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry Experience with maintaining machines a plus Ability to read blueprints and work instructions Experience with Microsoft Office Able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis Follow all safety procedures High level of honesty and integrity Must be 18 years or older Must pass a background investigation as part of the selection process Must pass the drug test as part of the selection process Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
