As a Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing facility, ensuring that our production processes run smoothly and efficiently. What you'll do
Operate and monitor machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and stamping presses to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to set up machines accurately.
Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for machine operations and troubleshooting.
Conduct quality control checks using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product specifications are met.
Perform routine maintenance on machines, including troubleshooting and minor repairs to keep equipment running efficiently.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line to optimize production flow and efficiency.
Handle materials safely, ensuring proper packaging and storage practices are followed.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Basic qualifications
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing or machining environments.
Proficiency in operating hand tools, fabrication equipment, and tooling for various processes.
Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for design interpretation.
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
Preferred qualifications
Experience with Fanuc programming and CAM programming for machine operation.
Forklift certification or experience in materials handling within a warehouse setting.
Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles for quality assurance.
