Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machinery, including CNC machines and press brake machines. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Duties

Operate CNC machines and other fabrication equipment to produce high-quality components. Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, applying GD&T principles as necessary. Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure product accuracy and adherence to quality standards. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions in a timely manner. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.

Requirements

Proven experience in machining or fabrication within a factory setting. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various types of machinery. Familiarity with programming CNC machines is preferred. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining tasks. Experience with press brake machines is a plus. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
