Morvillo Precision Products is currently seeking applicants for 1st Shift Machine Operators in our Providence, RI plant. We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude that wants to grow with our company. Candidates with previous experience working with metals are encouraged to apply. We will train the right candidate with a great attitude. You will be working with an experienced group of individuals and have the opportunity to be part of a great team! Compensation commensurate with experience Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate production equipment performing operations such as Rolling, Slitting, Wire Drawer, Tubing, Shell Press Operation and Bonding.
- Utilize procedures, charts, tables, and work instructions from supervisor to meet production requirements and high-quality standards.
- Use micrometers, hand tools, various machines, and solutions to perform assigned tasks.
- Document activity keeping accurate production and material movement records.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
- Able to lift heavy objects up to 25 lbs.
- Able to work on your feet for extended periods of time.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Previous production experience preferred.
