Since 1979, Custom Manufacturing Services, Inc. (CMS) and East River Metals (ERM) have manufactured metal enclosures, precision fabricated metal parts and weldments and electro-mechanical assemblies. From precision metal laser cutting, to highly cosmetic powder coat painting, to turnkey electro-mechanical assembly, CMS and ERM have provided quick turnarounds for our customers for over 35 years.


Machine Operator


Duties:

Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment Use hand tools to adjust and calibrate machines as needed Monitor production process to ensure quality control standards are met Package finished products for shipment or storage Perform basic materials handling tasks, such as moving raw materials and finished products around the warehouse Fabricate and weld parts using various tooling equipment Use SolidWorks to read and interpret blueprints and schematics Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate measurements and dimensions
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Previous experience in a manufacturing environment (Required) Ability to use hand tools and operate machinery safely and effectively Strong attention to detail and ability to perform quality control checks Knowledge of materials handling techniques and procedures Familiarity with SolidWorks or other CAD software preferred Basic math skills required

Salary: From $16 per hour, starting pay determined by applicable experience
