We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating various machinery and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while adhering to safety standards and operational guidelines.
Duties
Operate and monitor machinery including straightener machines, grinder machines.
Perform setup and adjustments on machines as required to ensure optimal performance.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand specifications.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers to ensure product quality.
Conduct quality control checks throughout the production process to maintain high standards.
Collaborate with team members on the assembly line for efficient workflow and materials handling.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
Assist in fabrication processes using hand tools and tooling equipment.
Experience
Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment is essential.
Familiarity with any type of machine operation.
Experience operating forklifts and performing materials handling tasks is beneficial.
Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks is a plus.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
