Responsibilities

Handle materials efficiently using forklifts and other materials handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Perform routine maintenance on machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal operation. Conduct quality inspections throughout production using hand tools, gauges, and inspection reports to maintain high standards. Assist with fabrication tasks including welding, tooling setup, and assembly line support as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, machine logs, incident reports, and quality records. Support packaging operations by preparing finished products for shipment while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

Familiarity with tooling setup, fabrication techniques including welding, and the use of hand tools for assembly tasks. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers accurately for quality control purposes. Knowledge of materials handling equipment like forklifts; certification preferred but not required. Basic math skills necessary for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments. Experience working in a manufacturing environment with an emphasis on safety protocols and quality standards. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues efficiently. Excellent communication skills for documenting processes and collaborating with team members effectively.
