Position Purpose
Cadence, Inc., is seeking a Machine Operator in our Suffield, CT location. peThe Machine Operator sets up and operates production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Using computer-controlled equipment, this role ensures machinery is properly configured, operates efficiently, and produces high-quality products according to specifications. Machine Operators play a vital role in ensuring smooth production runs, consistent quality, and timely output to support organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Setup:
Prepare and set up machinery before production runs, ensuring tools, materials, and components are available.
Machine Operation:
Operate various types of manufacturing machinery (lathes, presses, CNC, milling machines), monitoring operations and adjusting settings as needed.
Quality Control:
Inspect finished products, make adjustments to maintain quality, and collaborate with quality teams to resolve issues.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform routine maintenance, diagnose problems, and coordinate with maintenance personnel for repairs.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate production logs, machine settings, and quality reports.
Safety Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures, wear PPE, and promptly report safety concerns.
Collaboration:
Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow and schedules.
Efficiency Improvement:
Suggest and implement changes to improve performance and output.
Training:
Mentor new machine operators and stay updated on technologies and best practices.
Adherence to Procedures:
