Position Summary& Highlights:
This position will primarily support a busy and established NP provider and will also work with other providers and staff in the clinic.

CNA work experience does not qualify applicants for the MA position. See Minimum Requirements below for details.* This clinic offers family medicine to patients seeking help managing their wellness and chronic medical conditions.
The clinic is surrounded by an underserved residential area that continues to experience growth and development of new housing.
The Lake Hazel clinic has procedure rooms, lab and digital X-Ray services on site, in addition to a fully staffed Urgent Care facility open every day 8am - 8pm.

What You Will Do:
In addition to primary MA duties, you will administer immunizations, complete child well visits, and assist with minor procedures.
You will also perform phlebotomy, POC testing, UAs, ear lavages, and also complete tasks and orders in the task inbox.?
An ideal candidate will havea friendly and positive attitude, is a team player, has excellent organizational and prioritizing skills, strong communication skills, truly enjoys providing great patient care and likes to have fun.
Work Schedule:
40 hours/week - 4-10s - Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays (Thursdays off)
7:00am - 5:30pm
This will mostly be a set schedule, but flexibility will be needed at times based on patient scheduling.

10583 W. Lake Hazel Road, Boise, ID 83709, located on the corner of Lake Hazel and Five Mile Roads.
High School Diploma or equivalent requiredat hire.
MA certification required within 90 days of hire from one of the following Saint Alphonsus approved agencies:
American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
American Medical Technologists (RMA)
National Healthcare Association (CCMA)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
National Association of Health Professionals (NRCMA)
American Medical Certification Association (CMAC)
National Phlebotomy Certification Examination (NPCE MA)
New Graduates: 1) MA certificate of completion required from an accredited program or school. 2) Completion of either a100-hour MA externship or6 months MA experience in lieu of the externship hourseven with MA certification.
Medical Assistant with Experience: 1 Year of MA experience ORCurrent MA Certification OR obtain or renew certification within 90 days from hire from approved credentialing agencies listed above.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is requiredat hire.
EMT and CNA certifications will not count towards an MA certification. Obtaining the MA certification typically requires completing an MA Program or working as a Medical Assistant for at least 1 year. See each of the credentialing organization sites for additional details.
