We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Lunch Server to join our dynamic team in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. As a Lunch Server, you will be responsible for delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner, providing excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
Take food and beverage orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance the guest experience.
Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to tables while maintaining attention to detail.
Monitor guest satisfaction and address any concerns promptly to ensure a positive dining experience.
Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation according to restaurant standards.
Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines throughout service.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including basic math for processing payments.
Requirements
Previous restaurant experience in a serving role is preferred, particularly in fine dining or hospitality settings.
Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
Strong time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
Culinary experience or knowledge of food handling practices is highly desirable.
Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing are required.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
