Duties

Greet guests promptly with a friendly smile and provide attentive seating assistance as a host/host when needed Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and attention to detail Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities Manage multiple tables with excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during busy hours Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling, cashiering, and processing payments through POS systems like OpenTable or similar platforms Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and adhering to food safety regulations Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed to ensure smooth restaurant operations Provide exceptional guest services by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering positive guest relations Support sanitation practices by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations Collaborate with team members to create a seamless dining experience in both fine dining settings and lively nightclub atmospheres

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service or restaurant roles, preferably with fine dining or nightclub environments Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Excellent communication skills for effective guest interactions and teamwork Ability to handle multiple tables efficiently while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required; willingness to learn is essential Experience in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment Previous host/host or serving experience is beneficial for providing top-tier guest relations

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
