Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Lumber Warehouse Attendant/Driver to join our lumberyard. This role combines responsibilities in both warehouse operations and driving, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to operate various types of vehicles.
Duties
Safely operate a variety of vehicles. Manage the loading and unloading of building materials in compliance with safety regulations. Perform regular inspections and maintenance checks on vehicles to ensure performance. Assist with warehouse duties such as inventory management, order picking, and shipping. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area.
Qualifications
Valid driver's and CDL license with a clean driving record. Previous experience in warehouse operations or freight handling is an advantage. Ability to lift and perform physical tasks associated with building materials. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
