Summary

We are seeking a customer-focused, detail-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our team! In this role, you'll serves as the facilitator of communication between our customers and technicians - helping drivers understand their vehicle's needs, recommending the right services, and ensuring every visit ends with complete satisfaction. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, automotive knowledge, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities

Customer Communication: Engage with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs. Clearly explain recommended services, timelines, and cost estimates in a friendly and professional manner. Service Recommendations: Use your knowledge of vehicle systems and manufacturer maintenance schedules to recommend appropriate services and repairs tailored to each customer and their vehicle. Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate service appointments based on technician availability, urgency, and customer preferences to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Order Processing: Accurately create and maintain service orders, including service requests, parts, labor, pricing, and estimated completion times. Customer Satisfaction: Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the entire process. Address concerns promptly and work to build lasting relationships that encourage loyalty and repeat business. Communication: Maintain detailed records of service transactions, vehicle history, and customer interactions using shop management software. Technical Knowledge: Stay informed about automotive industry trends, service procedures, and new vehicle technologies to confidently address customer questions and support technician recommendations.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers Comfortable with computer systems and performing basic math calculations. Experience with Tekmetric is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks at once A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and upholding high professional standards Knowledge of automotive systems, maintenance procedures, and service intervals Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR will be verified) Experience with transmission rebuilding and replacement is a plus.
