We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in an intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) residential home community. The nurse will play a vital role in supporting residents' health and well-being by coordinating with healthcare providers and promoting a safe, supportive environment that enhances the quality of life.

Responsibilities

Monitor the health of residents, including vital signs, symptoms, and progress notes. Administer and monitor medications, ensuring appropriate levels in accordance with company policies. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for each resident. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure health plans are current and effective. Participate in staff training and development activities. Promote a safe and supportive environment that enhances residents' quality of life.

Qualifications & Skills

Current and valid LPN or RN license. Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Compassionate and dedicated approach to resident care.
