is seeking a

LPN/Pulmonary Specialist

to join our Skilled Nursing Facility team!

LPN/Pulmonary Specialist

Responsibilities:

Plan, implement and assess treatment plans for patients with respiratory illnesses Conduct patient interviews/assessments Monitor patients' progress towards goals Carry out diagnostic testing procedures Assist and collaborate with other healthcare professionals (i.e. physicians and respiratory therapists) Manage and administer medications Educate patients and their families on medications as well as various breathing treatments Administer different treatments including Oxygen Therapy, Manual CPT, Breathing Exercises, etc Advise patients on various lifestyle changes that can alleviate symptoms Educate patients on how to prevent respiratory illnesses Assessment and management of ventilator and tracheostomy patients

LPN/Pulmonary Specialist Qualifications:

Must have graduated from an accredited nursing program Must be a licensed nurse or Pulmonary Specialist Six months of experience in the last two years or completion of a clinical rotation within the last year in critical care/intensive care environment, to include care of respiratory needs of acutely ill patients
