Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse/Anesthesia Technician assists the Anesthesia team in the preparation setup of surgical cases as well as cleaning, maintaining, and stocking the anesthesia equipment and carts between cases.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION / LICENSURE

Required:

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x80\x94\xc2\x8f High school diploma or equivalent.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x80\x94\xc2\x8f Currently licensed in the State of New York as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x80\x94\xc2\x8f Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) certification at the time of hire or within two (2) weeks after hire.

Preferred:

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x80\x94\xc2\x8f Current certification with the Association of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred

EXPERIENCE

Required:

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x80\x94\xc2\x8f Minimum of one (1) year previous LPN experience in a direct patient care setting.

Preferred:

\xc3\xa2\xe2\x80\x94\xc2\x8f Previous critical care/anesthesia experience preferred

Hourly Rate Range
$18.00 - $33.33
Based on verified education and experience
