The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Rome is seeking a skilled and motivated

LPN Supervisor

to join our nursing leadership team. The LPN Supervisor supports nursing staff, oversees unit operations, and ensures residents receive high-quality, timely care in accordance with care plans and facility standards.



This role is ideal for an experienced LPN ready to step into a leadership position and make a meaningful impact on resident care and team success.

Available Shift Options

Weekends Only: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (12-hour weekend nights)

Full-Time: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Overnight shift)

LPN Supervisor Responsibilities

Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs during assigned shifts. Ensure residents receive high-quality care in alignment with individualized care plans. Conduct unit rounds to monitor resident status, staff performance, and overall safety. Assist with medication administration, treatments, and clinical tasks as needed. Respond to resident incidents, concerns, and changes in condition. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members. Review staff documentation for accuracy and regulatory compliance. Reinforce infection control practices, safety guidelines, and facility policies. Participate in quality assurance activities, shift reports, and staff development efforts. Support new staff onboarding, mentoring, and ongoing training initiatives.

Qualifications

Current NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license Prior long-term care or supervisory experience preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and leadership skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work independently and manage multiple responsibilities Commitment to resident rights, safety, and quality care
