LPN/RN

Duties to include, but not limited to, the following:

Opens and closes recovery:

Monitors patients after surgical procedures; vitals, bleeding etc. Administers medications needed & applies ice Records vitals and documents in patient charts Sends electronic scripts, prints/faxes or calls in scripts, excuse notes or FMLA papers Discharges patient- reviews instructions verbally from post operative pamphlet to driver & patients, gives sinus precautions to applicable patients, gives toothbrush, ice packs, syringes, gauze, etc. Answers post op phone calls Schedules emergency post op appointments Makes post operative appointments Schedules post operative calls for evening of procedure Keeps bunks, pillows, blankets, monitors, and workstation clean Turns on/off blanket warmer Makes post-op bags Makes single and double ice pack slings Stocks and rotates ice packs in freezer
Required education:

Associate
Required Nursing Experience:

1 year
