Cossatot Community College of the University of Arkansas (UA Cossatot) began in DeQueen, Arkansas in 1975 as an Arkansas Vocational-Technical School, designed to provide relevant workforce training for four counties in southwest Arkansas. Summary of Job Duties: This position is responsible for instructing and coordinating practical nursing courses, instructing students in a clinical setting, and following UA Cossatot and Medical Division policies and procedures. This instructor promotes a positive atmosphere for both students and faculty and communicates in a professional manner. This is a full-time, 11 month faculty position that renews annually and teaches on both the De Queen and Nashville campuses.

Qualifications:

• Associate Degree in Nursing
• Five years\xe2\x80\x99 nursing experience; acute care setting preferred
• Knowledge of nursing education (clinical educator/Inservice training considered)
• Ability to work well within a departmental setting
• Travel required between UA Cossatot campuses and clinical sites
