LPN or Certified Medical Assistant

to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring the highest level of patient care. This position involves a combination of clinical and administrative tasks, making it essential for candidates to possess both technical skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including patient histories, vital signs, and treatment plans. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions. Perform routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Conduct basic emergency care procedures when necessary, including CPR and first aid. Manage patient flow in the clinic or home care setting to optimize efficiency.

Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification Proficiency in EHR systems and HIPAA compliance Strong patient care and assessment skills Experience in medication administration and catheterization Familiarity with IV infusion and tube feeding techniques Knowledge of physiology and critical care practices
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $24.50 per hour
