Find your purpose changing the lives of our patients as an LPN or CMA at our Willmar Clinic in Internal Medicine!

In this role, you will provide care within your scope of practice to patients in the clinic setting and coordinate the provider clinic office function as advised by the Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers and under the direction of the RN Supervisor.

To be successful in this position, you will need to work well both independently and with others, have the desire and ability to communicate well with coworkers, patients, and their families. You should have the ability to assess, problem solve and handle tasks as they arise.

Primary Duties

• Provide patient focused rooming for all types of clinic visits.
• Communicate results and other pertinent medical information to patients and providers.
• Assist in assuring the day-to-day activities of the clinic are completed timely and efficiently.
• Assist Providers with clinic procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), American Medical Technologists (AMT) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) accredited school.

OR
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Must provide proof of pass notification prior to start with verification of official certification or registration within 3 months of exam date.

OR
Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the State of Minnesota required. * Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required per established policy.

• Ability to understand patients\' medical records, physician orders and medication orders to be communicated to the patient and staff.

*To be eligible for the sign-on bonus you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous CentraCare employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.

**Relocation assistance eligibility: Must accept a position that offers benefits and may not have worked for CentraCare/Carris in the last 9 months. Must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the Willmar Main Clinic and relocate to within 30 miles of it.
