The LPN provides quality nursing care to residents in a Long Term Care setting while maintaining patient dignity and adhering to scope of practice. Duties vary based on assigned LTC unit.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, treatments, and medication administration.
Monitor, document, and report patient conditions.
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team.
Maintain accurate charting and follow LTC safety and infection control standards.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program.
New grads accepted; 1 year LTC or hospital experience preferred.
Active Alaska LPN license in good standing.
Current CPR/BCLS and BLS required.
IV certification course preferred/required per facility.
Skills & Knowledge
Ability to interpret clinical information and communicate clearly.
Basic math skills (rate, ratio, percentages).
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Comfortable working with diverse cultural backgrounds.
Equipment
Experience with office equipment and basic medical devices such as Dynamap, thermometers, Datascope, and pulse oximeters.

Pay: $1,980.00 - $2,040.00 per week
