Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Outpatient Clinic (Travel Contract)

Location:

Bethel, AK

Private bedroom with shared common areas (male/female assigned housing)

Travel Reimbursement- Facility reimburses base airfare to and from Bethel at start and end of assignment

Contract Length:

13 Weeks

Schedule:

Monday-Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

to join the outpatient clinic team in Bethel, Alaska. The LPN will provide nursing care across a diverse patient population ranging from newborns to elderly patients in a community-centered healthcare environment.

This role includes direct patient care, supporting clinic providers, maintaining clinical readiness (stocking, supplies), and responding to patient needs with respect, cultural sensitivity, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

Provide hands-on patient care within the LPN scope of practice Perform patient assessments, vital signs, documentation, and medication administration Assist with clinic workflows including

room turnover, supply stocking, and patient flow support

Collaborate with RNs, Providers, Medical Assistants, and Health Aides Screen patient phone calls and assist with after-hours clinical needs under provider direction Apply

care approaches Maintain accurate documentation and follow organizational policies

Requirements

Active LPN License

(Alaska or willing to obtain)

BLS (CPR)

Certification
Minimum

1 year

recent clinical experience
(preferred: outpatient or hospital experience)
Must be able to pass competency screenings

Pay: $47.00 - $51.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
