Colorado OCD & Anxiety Treatment is a small, woman-owned practice with offices in Boulder and Fort Collins, Colorado. We specialize in anxiety and OCD treatment, utilizing Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT).
We also work closely with families through SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions), offering structured support to parents navigating OCD and anxiety within the family system.
About The Position:
We are excited to continue expanding our services in Boulder, CO, and are seeking a dedicated and compassionate LPC or LCSW (must be fully licensed) to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will provide high-quality clinical counseling to individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, with a focus on Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and Anxiety Disorders.
While prior experience in these areas is preferred, we are happy to provide and cover the cost of specialized training for the right candidate. This position is a 1099 (Independent Contractor) position.
This Role Requires:
A strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic approaches (ERP, CBT, DBT, ACT, I-CBT, SPACE Training, EMDR) - Willing to provide training
Excellent clinical judgment and documentation skills
A genuine commitment to client-centered, compassionate care
The position includes both in-person and telehealth sessions (based on client preference).
We are seeking a therapist who is available for after-school hours (Monday-Thursday or Monday-Friday, 3:00-7:00 p.m.) to start, with the opportunity to gradually build a caseload and transition to a 4-5 day workweek, depending on preference. Therapist must hold a minimum caseload of 25 clients per week.
Therapist is provided with a private office at our Boulder location, and all clients are referred directly through the practice--no marketing or self-promotion required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough assessments and create individualized treatment plans.
Provide ongoing counseling services via in-person and virtual sessions.
Apply effective crisis management strategies to support clients in acute distress.
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of client sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
Collaborate with medical and mental health professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Commit to continued professional development and stay current with best practices in mental health and telehealth services.
Qualifications & Experience
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
Active license (LPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Colorado.
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Experience working with OCD and anxiety is preferred; however, training will be provided for the right candidate.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong therapeutic relationships across diverse populations.
Comfortable providing services to children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families.
Willingness to maintain a minimum caseload of at least 25 clients.
Collaborative mindset with a strong commitment and ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $108.00 - $130.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week
