We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented
Electrical Engineer
with proven experience in
low voltage systems
to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining low voltage electrical systems and components to ensure optimal performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
This position requires a strong understanding of electrical design principles, low voltage technologies, and project management, along with excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot low voltage systems including security, fire alarm, and communication systems.
Conduct root cause analysis to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
Collaborate with project teams to develop project schedules and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation for creating and modifying schematics and layouts.
Perform signal processing and debugging on various electronic systems.
Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and firmware for system integration.
Engage in surface mount technology (SMT) assembly and soldering of components as needed.
Conduct vision inspection system checks to ensure quality standards are met.
Document all work performed, including changes made to existing systems or designs.
Requirements
Proven experience in electrical engineering or related field with a focus on low voltage systems.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or MATLAB for scripting tasks.
Familiarity with FPGA design, SoC architecture, and PCB layout principles is highly desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge to support system design and integration efforts.
Experience with signal processing techniques and tools such as SystemVerilog or Simulink is a plus.
Knowledge of NEC standards and best practices in manufacturing processes related to electrical systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail in all aspects of work.
