Description

As a

Low Voltage Foreman

at Techmenity, you will lead skilled installation teams, delivering cutting-edge technology systems for luxury residential and commercial projects in NYC. You'll manage the complete installation of AV, IT, lighting, and access control systems. Working with project managers, engineers, and clients, you'll oversee field operations, ensuring excellent system installation, testing, and delivery. Your leadership and expertise will transform buildings into intelligent, connected spaces.

What You'll Do

Lead installation teams

and subcontractors across multiple residential and commercial job sites, ensuring consistent quality and productivity.

Coordinate with project managers and engineers

to plan, schedule, and execute installations efficiently and on time.

Maintain technical excellence

through hands-on work -- overseeing cabling, terminations, rack building, and system commissioning.

Conduct site walkthroughs and quality checks

, verifying performance, documentation, and adherence to safety standards.

Represent Techmenity on-site

, providing clients with clear communication, professional service, and a white-glove experience.
You May Come From...

An

AV, low-voltage, or smart home integrationbackground with hands-on installation experience. Work as a

Lead Installer, Field Supervisor, or Foreman

in technology integration or construction trades. The

electrical, networking, or security systems

industry, transitioning into integrated systems work. Experience with

Crestron, Savant, Control4, Lutron, Ubiquiti, or Cisco

systems. A history of

managing teams, subcontractors, or job sites

for residential or commercial projects.

What You Bring

5+ years of experience in

low-voltage installations

(AV, IT, lighting, access control). 2+ years in a

lead or supervisory role

managing technicians or subcontractors. Advanced knowledge of

cabling, rack building, system config, and documentation.

Ability to

read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills; detail-oriented and solution-driven. Certifications such as

AVIXA CTS, OSHA-30, or CompTIA Network+

are a plus.
