Vigilant Asset Protection Tactical Team Associates (TTA) primary role is external theft resolution, and they are required to be on the salesfloor in an undercover role. TTA members will work together as a team under the direction of the Tactical Team Lead (TTL). The Tactical Team is supported by a uniformed Tier 2 Loss Prevention Associate (T2A). KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES \xc2\xb7 Work as a team to Apprehend customers involved in shoplift/theft \xc2\xb7 Ensure teamwork and safety through assertive tactics while gaining compliance with shoplift subjects \xc2\xb7 Must be able to support the Tactical Team Leader when faced with critical incidents \xc2\xb7 Report and document all incidents timely, in an honest, objective, and fair manner \xc2\xb7 Conduct effective surveillance techniques of subjects \xc2\xb7 Report and document all incidents timely, in an honest, objective, and fair manner \xc2\xb7 Develop a rapport with the client and provide input to Vigilant supervisors for staffing \xc2\xb7 Model, mentor and influence the training curriculum to maintain quality control and standards for all Vigilant personnel \xc2\xb7 Patrol all areas of the property, monitoring guest\xe2\x80\x99s behavior for indications of theft \xc2\xb7 Prepare detailed written incident reports to document all Security/Loss Prevention related incidents, observations, and daily activity \xc2\xb7 Work with company and client leadership on ORC investigations and other strategies \xc2\xb7 Report behavior that may be detrimental to the client, including theft, customer complaints, policy and procedural violations, safety violations, poor service, or unfriendly behavior \xc2\xb7 Testify in legal proceedings to observations when required \xc2\xb7 Professionally interact with customers of all ages, ethnicity, and background \xc2\xb7 Maintain confidentially of all Security/Loss Prevention and property report/documents; release information only to authorized individuals \xc2\xb7 Notify appropriate individuals in the event of injury, property damage or customer complaint \xc2\xb7 Monitor CCTV system where applicable ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES \xc2\xb7 Comply with all Vigilant AP directives, policies, and procedures \xc2\xb7 Perform all delegated tasks assigned by Loss Prevention Supervisor \xc2\xb7 Adhere to Company standards as stated in departmental training manual SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS \xc2\xb7 Must be at least 18 years old \xc2\xb7 High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred \xc2\xb7 Excellent written / verbal communication skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to interact professional and positive manner with store management, Asset Protection team members and client associates and customers \xc2\xb7 Able to work independently with minimum supervision \xc2\xb7 Must be detail oriented, highly motivated, and a self-starter \xc2\xb7 Able to stand and/or walk for long periods of time, both inside and outdoors \xc2\xb7 Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends \xc2\xb7 Able to pass a thorough background screen, including criminal background check Job Type: Full-time Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:
