Saint Joseph School (SJS) is seeking a long-term substitute for elementary school.

SJS is seeking a substitute teacher for a two- to three-month period (now to December).

Essential Responsibilities

Establishes a safe and supportive environment that is conducive to learning Designs and implements authentic and engaging learning experiences using WV College and Career Readiness Standards Adheres to SJS assessment and grading policy and guidelines Collaborates with other teachers in order to share best practices and provides meaningful feedback regularly Communicates regularly with parents Provides extra support to students who need it
Qualifications

Bachelor's or associate degree from an accredited university or college Ability to establish and maintain effective collaborative relationships with students, peers, administrators and parents Able to speak in a voice that is understandable and clear Demonstrated skill in oral and written communications, excellent human-relations skills Proficiency with basic computer software such as Word and Excel
Prior educational experience is desirable.

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
