Job Description

Kate Furbish Elementary School is searching for a long term substitute grade two classroom teacher. The teacher will join an amazing team of nine other enthusiastic and collaborative grade two teachers.

Desired candidates will:

Have successful early elementary instructional experience Create effective rapport with students Effectively plan and implement approved elementary curriculum Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans and instructional materials Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of individual students Evaluate students' academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare progress reports Identify student needs and effectively collaborate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students Establish and maintain effective working relationships with families
