Job Description

Responsibilities:

Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective lessons according to the curriculum and lesson plans provided. Adapt instructional methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. Implement effective discipline strategies and address any behavioral issues in accordance with school policies.Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress through various formative and summative assessments. Provide feedback to students and maintain accurate records of academic performance.Communication: Collaborate with school staff, including administrators, counselors, and other teachers.



Communicate effectively with students, parents, and guardians regarding student progress and any concerns.Documentation: Complete required paperwork, including attendance records, incident reports, and lesson plans. Ensure all documentation complies with school and Rhode Island Department of Education (RIDE) requirements.Professionalism: Adhere to all school policies and procedures. Participate in professional development opportunities and school meetings as required.
