The expectations for this role are to help flow material through the shop in a safe and productive manner. This will include covering for other truckers in the plant including the press area, receiving and chip/spin/wash.
Essential Responsibilities:
Maintain numerical and written records
Frequent heavy lifting
Assist team and area with SAP transactions to keep accurate inventory
Perform SAP transactions & PM-Pro die location updates as needed
Back up receiving when needed
Perform standard work per the quality work plans
Participation in team-based improvement activities
Active participation in standard work revisions
Clean, maintain, and organize assigned area
Perform cycle counts on raw stock locations

Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED
Need to hold fork truck certification for all equipment
HAZMAT Certification required (must be obtained within 30 days of starting job)
Desired Characteristics
Good safety, attendance, and performance record
Willing and able to become fork truck licensed
Able to interpret shop blueprints
Able to interpret MOSs and BOMs
Able to do arithmetic and basic shop math
Use standard measuring instruments
Work with minimum supervision
Communicate effectively
