Overview

Solar Pile USA is seeking a hands-on and highly organized

Site Logistics Foreman

to oversee all yard and material-handling operations. This position plays a key leadership role in managing day-to-day logistics, ensuring materials are received, stored, staged, and shipped efficiently to support production and customer delivery schedules. The Site Logistics Foreman will supervise a team of yard personnel and equipment operators, driving safety, productivity, and organization across all site logistics activities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of yard personnel, operators, and material handlers; provide daily direction, task assignments, and performance oversight. Oversee all yard operations, including loading, unloading, staging, and organizing materials to maintain smooth production flow. Coordinate inbound material deliveries and outbound shipments in collaboration with the Production Manager and Project Management team. Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of materials through the company's MRP system. Maintain yard inventory accuracy through routine counts, labeling, and organization. Communicate with trucking companies, galvanizers, and customers to coordinate pick-ups, deliveries, and turnaround schedules. Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for quality and accuracy. Uphold a clean, safe, and efficient work environment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Support the Production Manager with daily logistics planning, manpower scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred. Prior supervisory experience required -- ideally overseeing logistics, shipping/receiving, or yard operations within a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Skilled in operating or overseeing operation of forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment. Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills. Basic computer proficiency; experience with MRP or ERP systems preferred. Commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
