Schedule: Monday - Friday (3:30pm - 11:30pm)
Homebase: 101 NE 23rd St, Miami, FL 33137
Equipment: Flatbed single car Dodge Ram 3500
Logistics Driver - Flatbed Tow Operator (PM Shift)

• As a Logistics Flatbed Tow Operator, you will be responsible for properly recovering our vehicles on public roads when the need arises.
• This individual thrives in a customer service atmosphere and must have a clean driving record.
• You will be responsible for assisting in our transition towards being a more production-ready company.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and safely conduct recovery tasks on public roads.
• Pull a combined gross vehicle weight of 10,001 pounds and up to 26,000 pounds; the current flatbed equipment Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is at 20,000 pounds.
• Ensure goods are transported and secured in a safe and e?cient manner
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of company materials, vehicles, and trailers
• Comply with all applicable DOT regulations
• Timely and effective communication with dispatch and ground support is a must
• Operate flatbed towing equipment to include winching, skating, snatch blocking, and shimmy off load, complex towing procedures
• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs, including hours of service
• Maintain and service vehicles as needed (refuel, change oil, tire pressure, repairs, etc.)
• Collaborate with the Logistics and cross-functional teams and stakeholders to provide great customer experience

Qualifications:

• Valid basic Class C driver's license is required
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
• Physical ability to exit/enter vehicle multiple times a day and lift to 35 pounds
• Meet DOT physical and medical requirements as necessary
• Must pass a background check and drug testing requirements
• Clean driving record with no moving violations
• Ability to operate large and heavy vehicles with high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity
• 2+ years proven towing experience with flatbed driving preferred
• Must be flexible on work hours
• Strong communication skills
• Strong organization skills
• Hands on approach to getting the job done
• Work effectively in a team setting
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and adjust to provide great customer experience
