Overview:
The logistics coordinator position analyzes and coordinates the logistical functions of an organization; assists in the life cycle of a product, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery and final disposal of resources.
Responsibilities:
Evaluation of power tools and equipment for repair.
Directs salvage and return of used or unused electrical materials.
Loading and unloading trucks by hand and forklift.
Oversee vehicles, warehouse building and grounds.
Perform general administrative tasks such as faxing, copying, filing, organizing, mailing, and document development.
Driving van or box truck in South Florida.
Coordinate and optimize logistics operations including inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.
Receive and stock all deliveries.
Prepare and expedite product for delivery.
Track all stock transfer requests using tracking system.
Use tool tracking system to produce weekly cycle counts for warehouse.
Oversee IT infrastructure and provide support for hardware, software, and network systems.
Manage vendor relationships and procurement of logistics and IT supplies.
Maintain documentation for logistics procedures and IT systems.
Coordinate the setup and support of devices and communication tools (e.g., laptops, phones, tablets).
Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Electrical Contracting tools and materials a must!
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
PC, Microsoft office, and email skills a must!
Must be able to withstand the physical needs of job including heavy lifting, bending, and repetitive motions.
Pay Range: USD $20.00 - USD $24.00 /Hr.
