Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and organized

Logistics Coordinator

to manage day-to-day domestic freight shipments. The ideal candidate will focus on obtaining competitive freight quotes, scheduling pickups and deliveries, and maintaining clear communication with carriers, vendors, and internal teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys keeping logistics running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Obtain and compare domestic freight quotes (LTL, FTL, parcel, etc.) to secure competitive rates. Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery. Communicate shipping details and updates to internal teams. Address price increases or variances with brokers. Log every Bill of Lading (BOL) and shipping details accurately. Track shipments and follow up with carriers as needed to ensure on-time delivery. Maintain positive working relationships with freight providers and vendors. Provide occasional support for logistics-related inquiries or scheduling needs.

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in logistics coordination, transportation, or shipping (preferred but not required). Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and email communication; experience with freight portals and ERP systems. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
