Job Summary


We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will manage transportation, warehouse distribution, procurement, and inventory control processes to ensure seamless product flow. This role requires strong data analysis skills, experience with ERP systems, and a solid understanding of supply chain management principles. The Logistics Coordinator will play a critical role in enhancing process efficiency, reducing costs, and supporting overall business growth.

Duties



Coordinate transportation management activities including freight, shipping & receiving, and dispatching to ensure timely delivery of goods. Manage warehouse operations such as inventory management, stocking, materials handling, and warehouse distribution. Oversee procurement activities including sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and contract negotiations to optimize costs and supplier relationships. Utilize supply chain analytics tools like Tableau and SQL for data collection, analysis, and root cause analysis to identify areas for process improvement. Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP platforms such as AS400 or SAP to streamline operations. Develop demand planning strategies using MRP systems and production planning techniques to meet customer requirements efficiently. Monitor category management, pricing strategies, and profit & loss metrics to support financial objectives. Collaborate with 3PL providers, NVOCCs, and other logistics partners to coordinate order fulfillment and shipping schedules. Conduct analysis on supply chain performance metrics to identify risks or bottlenecks and implement corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety standards related to materials handling equipment such as forklifts and mechanical tools.

Experience



Proven experience in supply chain management or logistics coordination within a warehouse or distribution environment. Strong familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), ERP platforms like SAP or AS400, and related software such as SQL or Tableau for data analysis. Hands-on experience with procurement processes including sourcing, vendor negotiations, contracts, and freight management. Knowledge of inventory control techniques, demand planning, production scheduling, and shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to perform root cause analysis and process improvements using data-driven insights. Mechanical knowledge or experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts is a plus. Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets related to logistics performance metrics. Strong negotiation skills combined with effective communication abilities for vendor and stakeholder management. Pay: $3,989.04 - $5,604.01 per month
