Local automotive manufacturer is seeking an experienced and qualified 3rd shift Logistics Coordinator.

Logistics Coordinator Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $19.00 to $22.00 /hour
• Full Time work available
• Weekend work required
• Third Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 10:00pm to 06:30am)

The Materials Clerk is responsible for the management of the shipping and receiving office and all activities related to the receipt and shipment of product inbound and outbound.

• Responsible for receiving and directing truck traffic to available dock doors and communicating to materials team members to ensure all deliveries are unloaded in a timely manner to prevent detention charges.
• Work with trucking dispatch and truck drivers as required to maintain flow of material and racking into and out of the plant property.
• Responsible for communicating in FIFO order which trailers should be unloaded on their plant and communicate arrivals to the materials analyst.
• Responsible for filing documents daily, monthly and yearly, labelling the files, and storing boxes properly for record retention.
• Create accurate bill of ladings, packing slips, customs invoices or any other documents required for outbound shipping.

Logistics Coordinator Qualifications:

• 3yrs.+ experience as a Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain, or similar role
• Previous Dispatch experience
• Must be Forklift Certified
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred
• Must be able to work 3rd shift
• Overtime is mandatory when needed

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
