Logistics Compliance Specialist
Location: Orlando, FL (7415 Emerald Dunes Dr)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30.66/hr (Weekly pay on W2 + Medical, Dental, Vision)
Duration: 6-Month Contract (Possible Extension or Conversion)

Position Overview:
We're looking for a Logistics Compliance Specialist to support import/export trade compliance activities and ensure all operations align with U.S. government regulations and internal policies. You'll play a key role in managing classification, valuation, and documentation for international shipments while collaborating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with U.S. Customs and international trade regulations (CBP, ITAR, EAR).
Maintain accurate HTS classifications and country of origin data for all imports/exports.
Monitor and interpret changes in trade and tariff regulations.
Support duty and tariff analysis, reporting, and cost-saving programs (Duty Drawback, TIBs, etc.).
Liaise with customs brokers and freight partners for pre-clearance and shipping instructions.
Assist with trade compliance audits, documentation, and ERP data integration (SAP).
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and compliance training materials.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs, or international logistics.
Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs Regulations, HTS codes, valuation methods, and export control laws.
Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
