Job Overview


We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Logistics Associate/Driver to join our team and drive operational excellence across our supply chain network. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and supporting warehouse distribution activities to ensure timely delivery and optimal stock levels. Your proactive approach will help streamline processes, improve efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of safety and accuracy. Duties



Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries and pick-ups, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Assist with warehouse activities including receiving, shipping, order picking, packing, and inventory control Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS) to schedule routes, track shipments, and update inventory records Coordinate with procurement teams to manage sourcing, purchasing, and freight arrangements for timely order fulfillment Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and warehouse equipment such as forklifts and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) tools to ensure operational safety Support process improvement initiatives by analyzing logistics data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing efficient solutions Prepare shipping & receiving documentation, verify freight accuracy, and manage 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) provider communications

Experience



Proven experience in logistics operations, including transportation management, warehouse distribution, or supply chain management Familiarity with ERP systems like AS400 or similar platforms used for inventory control and operations management Hands-on experience with warehouse experience including materials handling, packaging, order picking & packing Knowledge of freight forwarding procedures such as NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations and shipping & receiving protocols Ability to analyze supply chain data using tools like supply chain analytics or demand planning software to optimize inventory levels and reduce costs Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; forklift certification is a plus Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in dispatching, category management, procurement sourcing, and pricing strategies

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
