We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Analyst to support our logistics and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations. This role is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in supply chain analytics, import/export compliance, and FTZ procedures. You will assist with tracking shipments, managing inventory data, and ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs regulations under FTZ guidelines.
This is a full-time, on-site position at our Champaign IL location. Working hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm CST.
Typical pay for this position is $55,000 a year. The final offer for this position will be based on the unique experience and qualifications of the candidate selected.
Primary Duties include:
Assist in monitoring inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring timely and accurate movement of goods.
Provide logistics support to our internal customer service, sales and supply chain planning teams.
Support the day-to-day operations of the Foreign Trade Zone, including recordkeeping, inventory tracking, and documentation.
Help prepare and file FTZ-related documents (e.g., e214, zone status changes, inventory adjustments).
Perform basic data entry and reporting using Excel, WMS, or FTZ software systems.
Help maintain compliance with FTZ and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations.
Participate in cycle counts and reconcile FTZ inventory records as needed.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual reports required by CBP and the FTZ Board.
Education & Experience:
5 years of industry experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution or a related field.
Internship or coursework in logistics, international trade, or customs compliance preferred but not required.
Exposure to FTZ operations or trade compliance is a plus.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Basic understanding of logistics, inventory, or customs processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data entry and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with U.S. import/export processes and FTZ concepts (e.g., duty deferral, zone admissions).
Experience with ERP, WMS, logistics or FTZ software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
Certifications or coursework in trade compliance or supply chain is a bonus.

Working Conditions:
Periodic travel to FTZ-enabled distribution centers and international operations.
10-20% travel required based on business needs.
Fully office-based; will involve some time in warehouse (FTZ) environments.
