Worker will operate a track or tire mounted grapple skidder. Worker must bunches logs or pulpwood according to specie and size and haul it to roadside and/or yard. Worker must pile logs or pulpwood by specie and size in orderly piles. Must perform minor maintenance daily and repair equipment. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather conditions. Must abide by landowner and OSHA regulations. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a grapple skidder operator. Must have ability to work, communicate and maintain work performance as a three member team. Communicate" is defined as the ability of worker to use radio equipment in machines to communicate with team members. Quantity of workers needed: Occupation: Rate dependent on experience : Job Order# (1) Logging Delimber Operators $19.59 to $20.00/hour 915566 Worker must operate a track or tire mounted mechanical delimber. Must be able to identify trees according to species and sort them to designated piles. Retrieves unlimbed trees from a road side yard, delimbs them and places them in an orderly manner for easy retrieval by the loading crane. Must have the ability to work as a three member team and maintain productivity as a team. Must be able to operate carrier vehicle. Must perform minor maintenance and repair on equipment daily. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather. Must have six months referenced, paid production experience as a delimber operator. Must abide by landowner, OSHA and employer regulations. Quantity Occupation: Rate dependent on experience: Job Order# (2) Log Truck Drivers, TT $22.28/hour 915551 The worker must be in good physical / mental health and have the ability to operate company owned tractor trailer. Worker must drive trucks safely and efficiently over difficult and rough woods roads. Must be able to operate other trailers or semi trailers in connection with woods operations and must have sufficient knowledge of truck mechanics to make simple and minor adjustments and repairs to trucks. Position requires more skill and experience than regular truck drivers. Applicant must have six months, referenced, paid production experience as a log truck driver. Must have a Class A Driver\'s license for tractor trailer truck driver. Driver\'s license background check is required. Driver\'s must have an acceptable driving record and be insurable by employers insurance company. Driver must have ability to transport logs and other wood products to both U.S. markets and Canadian markets. Driver must pass mandated drug and alcohol tests. Operator must comply with landowner environmental regulations. Drug & alcohol testing costs are incurred by the employer. Drivers transporting logs and other wood products to Canadian markets must have a passport or a pass card or a valid driver\'s license and birth certificate. Quantity Occupation: Rate dependent on experience: Job Order# (2) Operating Engineers $22.70/hour 915584 Will be an Operating Engineer. This occupation consists of building and maintaining logging roads. Employees will operate bulldozers, motor graders, front end loaders, chainsaws, dump or tractor trailer trucks, excavators, cranes, and other similar road construction equipment. Worker must hold a valid class "A" or "B" driver\'s license. Workers may be required to move road building equipment as associated with building logging roads. Workers must be able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment and do daily maintenance on equipment. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have two years of referenced, paid experience as an operating engineer in relations to building logging roads. Must be in good health and physical condition. Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Quantity Occupation: Rate dependent on experience: Job Order# (1) Processor $20.50 to $21.50/hour 915606 Will operate processor. Must have satisfactorily qualified as a mechanical harvester operator. Must have satisfactory understanding and knowledge of electrical over hydraulics functions in mechanical equipment. Must be able to make minor repairs and adjustments to equipment. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must have six months of referenced, paid production experience. Must be in good health and physical condition. Must be able to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions. Must have compatible understanding and knowledge of tree species. Must be able to exercise proper felling techniques and promptly determine the most beneficial selection of cutting lengths. Must abide by landowner, employer and OSHA regulations. Must be able to read, comprehend, and execute harvest prescriptions assigned to operator by forester. Workers will be working as a two man harvesting team. Each worker must maintain a level of production standard that will insure that their other team member work is continuous during the harvest period. The job openings are temporary positions. Work is guaranteed for 3/4 of the contract period specified in reg. 20 CFR 655.122(i).Housing will be made available at no cost to workers, including U.S. workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of each working day. Work Tools, supplies and equipment will be provided at no cost to the workers. Transportation and subsistence expenses to the worksite will be provided by the employer or paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract, or earlier, if appropriate. Base rates are for the first 40 hours worked within a pay week period. Workers will also be paid an overtime rate of pay equal to one and one half the base rates of pay listed above for hours worked in excess of 40 hours in the same pay week period, if applicable.
