As a Locum CRNA, you will play a vital role in delivering anesthesia care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia and monitor patient vital signs during procedures
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and evaluations
Provide post-anesthesia care and support to patients
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Stay current with anesthesia practices and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with patients and their families
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the department
Requirements
Associate's degree in Nursing; CRNA certification required
1+ years of experience as a Nurse Anesthetist preferred
Strong clinical skills in anesthesia administration
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
Commitment to maintaining patient safety and comfort
Current state licensure and certification in anesthesia required
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts
Call shifts available
Cases: General, orthopedics, gynecology
Comfortability with OB cases preferred
Must be proficient in blocks
EMR: Epic
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
