This full-time, on-site position offers a unique opportunity for entry-level professionals to join our dedicated team within the Staffing and Recruiting industry, specifically focusing on anesthesiology services.
As a Locum CRNA, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients while collaborating with a team of skilled healthcare professionals. This position provides a solid foundation for your career in anesthesiology, allowing you to gain valuable experience and contribute to various healthcare settings.
Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia to patients undergoing surgical procedures
Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures
Assist in developing anesthesia care plans
Collaborate with surgeons and other medical staff
Provide post-anesthesia care and support
Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
Stay updated on the latest anesthesia practices and protocols
Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program
Current CRNA certification and state licensure
Basic understanding of anesthesia techniques and patient care
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges
Prior experience in a clinical setting is a plus but not mandatory
Schedule: Monday-Friday (7a-7p or 9a-9p) or Saturday & Sunday (7a-5:30p)
No call requirement
Setting: MOR or procedural suite
MOR Cases: General, neuro, healthy peds, trauma, urology, ortho
Procedural Suite Cases: GI, EP, IR, MRI
Supervision: 1:3 in MOR, 1:3 or 1:4 in procedural suites
Must be board-certified
