Starting Pay: $23.97 per hour (and up, depending on experience)
Essential Job Functions:
Under the general direction of the Small Project Construction Foreman, performs building security through the maintenance of internal and external door locking devices including the installation, repair, remodel and maintenance of manual and automated locks, locking systems, and security devices, computerized access control systems and door openers, closures, and hardware throughout the district's buildings and grounds areas.
Qualifications:
+ Must be at least 21 years of age and a high school graduate
+ must have demonstrated excellent job performance and attendance
+ must possess and maintain minimum Missouri Class E driver's license or equivalent accompanied by an excellent driving record
+ Must be able to safely operate a utility work truck
+ Must have several years' experience in all phases of locksmithing
+ must be able to prioritize duties in a changing environment and meet deadlines
+ Must possess excellent interpersonal and communications skills and the ability to relate to a diverse staff, administration and workforce
+ Must be computer literate and be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software (prefer Microsoft Office Suite and Google G Suite programs)
+ must be able to understand and communicate clearly in English - both verbally and in writing - for basic job-related duties and response to safety emergencies as well as follow verbal, written or demonstrated instruction
+ Ability to work overtime and respond to 24-hour on-call emergency service
