Cooperative Farmers Elevator (CFE) is seeking a proactive and experienced Location Manager for our Doon, IA location. This full-time leadership role focuses on agronomy operations, team development, and delivering exceptional customer service. You will oversee daily activities, manage seasonal logistics, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while driving growth and profitability.

Lead and manage agronomy operations, including crop input sales, application scheduling, and logistics. Supervise and develop location staff; delegate tasks to meet seasonal and market demands. Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Maintain facilities and equipment in excellent condition and oversee maintenance schedules. Monitor budgets, control expenses, and participate in annual planning. Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve issues promptly. Drive business growth in agronomy and support grain marketing initiatives. Engage in community activities to promote CFE's image and strengthen customer relationships.

Qualifications:

Degree in Agriculture, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. 2-5 years of management experience in agronomy or cooperative operations. Class A CDL or ability to obtain within 60 days. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic accounting principles. Ability to work extended seasonal hours, including nights and weekends. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights as needed.
