We are H6 Trivia -- an innovative entertainment company known for our video-based pop culture trivia nights. Unlike traditional quizzo, our events use engaging multimedia rounds that create a high-energy, show-like atmosphere. We partner with bars and restaurants to bring guests an unforgettable, interactive experience.

As a Trivia Host, you make the event happen! You'll be provided all content needed to facilitate a multimedia trivia event with energy, humor, and confidence. Your role is to execute the event with fun, keep the game flowing, and create an atmosphere that keeps people coming back week after week.

Key Responsibilities

Confidently host trivia events at partner venues, ensuring a smooth, fun, and engaging experience. Prepare in advance by reviewing the trivia slides and multimedia content provided. Operate the trivia software using your reliable, modern laptop (must handle video content and audio playback via HDMI or similar setup). Coordinate with venue staff on setup, sound checks, and any special needs. Interact warmly with participants, encourage friendly competition, and keep the energy up throughout the event. Manage scoring and announce winners clearly and enthusiastically. Offer feedback on the trivia rounds or event flow to help us keep improving. Foster relationships with regular players and venue teams to build a loyal following.

Requirements

Outgoing, confident personality with strong public speaking skills. Comfortable using laptops, connecting to TVs/house audio, and troubleshooting basic tech issues. Own a reliable, modern laptop capable of smoothly running high-quality video presentations and scoring software. Ability to stand and engage participants for the full event (approx. 2 hours). Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Available evenings and weekends as scheduled. Experience in hosting, performing, or customer-facing roles is a plus (but not required).
