Overview

We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team in Belen, New Mexico. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse visual projects, including branding, digital art, web design, and print advertising. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in graphic design principles and proficiency with industry-standard tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and WordPress. You will collaborate closely with marketing and production teams to develop compelling visual content that aligns with client branding and marketing strategies. Responsibilities

Develop and execute creative concepts for branding, logos, motion graphics, and digital art projects. Design and produce visual content for websites, social media, print advertising, signage, and video editing. Utilize tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Sketch, CorelDRAW, and InVision to create high-quality graphics. Manage layout design, typesetting, color management, typography, and overall visual design consistency across projects. Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements and deliver engaging visual solutions. Create wireframes and prototypes using Figma or InVision for UI/UX design projects. Implement web design elements using HTML, CSS, JavaScript within WordPress or other content management systems. Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and industry standards while maintaining a focus on user experience. Stay updated on current trends in digital art, motion graphics, web design, and sign manufacturing to bring fresh ideas to projects.

Qualifications

Proven experience in graphic design with a strong portfolio showcasing branding, logo design, motion graphics, UI/UX design, and print advertising. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), After Effects, Sketch, CorelDRAW, Figma, InVision, WordPress, HTML/CSS/JavaScript basics. Strong understanding of color theory, typography, layout design, visual storytelling techniques. Knowledge of digital art creation including photo manipulation and photo editing techniques. Excellent presentation skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly to clients and team members. Experience in sign manufacturing or production design is a plus. Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A degree or certification in Graphic Design or related field is preferred but not mandatory if complemented by relevant experience.
