Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including box trucks and step vans. The Local Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining customer satisfaction.

Hours are estimated to be 4am - 1pm

Work days are Mon, Tues, Thur, Fri and some Saturdays

Duties

Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and step vans, to transport goods to various locations. Perform route driving while adhering to traffic laws and company policies. Load and unload cargo using equipment such as hand trucks and dollies. Ensure the safe handling of products, including heavy lifting when necessary. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred but not required for all positions. Experience in route driving or as a delivery driver is highly desirable Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Capable of performing heavy lifting as required by the job duties. A commitment to safety practices and procedures while on the road.
