Position Summary

Responsible for moving goods and material within the Kroger Fulfillment Network. Including and not limited to Fulfillment Centers, Spokes, Vendors and Suppliers. Demonstrate the company\'s core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

Essential Job Functions * Deliver product to fulfillment centers, spokes, vendors, and suppliers safely and efficiently

• Achieve precise delivery time
• Operate yard tractor when needed
• Perform additional tasks as requested by local leadership (loading frames, moving vehicles in the yard, etc.)
• Provide customer service that makes both internal and external customers feel welcome, important, and appreciated.
• Adhere to corporate and departmental engineered labor and safety standards
• Maintain compliance with all DOT and FMCSA regulations which include but not limited to pre and post inspections, hours of service, medical cards and drug and alcohol compliance
• Maintain Elog as outlined by FMCSA and Kroger Leadership
• Load and unload frames and totes at site locations
• Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation

Minimum Position Qualifications * Valid CDL with proper endorsements and medical card, Registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse

• 1 year verifiable tractor trailer experience
• Any Minimum 21 years of age where applicable by law
• Ability to work weekends, nights, extended/additional shifts and holidays when needed
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to learn and operate onboard computers
• Ability to back trailers safely in to docks or vendor locations
• Works well with others, in a team and independently

Desired Previous Experience/Education * High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years tractor trailer experience
